Mosaic is a new REER modular safety controller for protecting machines or plants. Mosaic is capable of monitoring several safety sensors and commands such as safety light curtains, laser scanners, photocells, mechanical switches, mats, emergency stops, two-hand controls, concentrating management into a single, flexible device. The modular and expandable structure can adapt I/O configuration and functionality to the demands of many different applications. The Mosaic Safety Designer software (free with each master unit) is an easy to use and intuitive tool which allows the configuration of the safety module in a few easy steps.

Safety photocells for the protection of workers exposed to risks arising from the use of dangerous machines. Can be used in conjunction with the AU SX or the AU SXM control units to provide the specified safety level.
Type 2 control units for connection of from 1 to 4 safety Ilion or Ulisse series photocells, thus forming a Type 2 ESPE having a two-channel relay output, start/restart interlock and FSD monitoring safety functions.
The safety Sin/Cos incremental Safecoder encoder together with MOSAIC comprise a SIL 3 certified function for safe speed monitoring. They have a robust and reliable interface with ability to handle high mechanical loads.
